Shoplifters in Cannock

Shoplifters seemed to be out in force yesterday. 💪

At the old WH Smith - now TJ Jones - two individuals made themselves easy to spot by staff thanks to their bulging bags of stolen goods from various stores. Both arrested.

Over at B&M Church Street, two female shoplifters were caught red-handed at the same time with a load of laundry pods.

Store security detained one, and police located the other with support from our Cannock CCTV operator. One arrested and the other reported for summons.

Whilst police were still dealing in B&M, another pair decided to try their luck with the laundry beads. Both escorted out of store - after paying for the items concealed in their pram. No baby on board, just lots of washing beads tucked in like one. 👶👮
